A clear introduction to William Allan.
For people looking to connect their investments, taxes and the decisions ahead. Here is who we help, how the relationship works, and what to expect when you reach out.
You are approaching retirement
You want to understand how retirement income, your investment portfolio and taxes work together. Our coordinated planning brings those questions into the same conversation.
Your financial life is changing
An inheritance, a concentrated stock position or a business transition can bring connected investment, tax and estate questions. We help define the scope of the work before an engagement begins.
You want an ongoing advisory relationship
William Allan provides fee-only fiduciary wealth management. The team coordinates portfolio management with tax and estate planning; the work and fees are set out in the engagement you agree to.
The first conversation is with Ian
A free, thirty-minute call with Ian Bearss gives you space to explain what prompted your inquiry. It is an intake conversation, not financial advice or a completed financial analysis. If there is a fit, the next step is a conversation with the appropriate advisor.
Understand the fee distinction
There is generally no minimum account balance, but Asset Management Services carry a minimum annual fee. Those are different things. Read the current disclosures and discuss the service scope and applicable fees before deciding to work together.
Start wherever you are
Our offices are in Long Beach and Fort Collins, with phone and video conversations available. We confirm whether we can serve your state. If you are still exploring, the retirement checklist is available without giving us an email address.
Someone you know may find this useful.
You are welcome to share this page, and they can contact us directly. There is no need to send us someone else's contact details or financial information.
This checklist and introduction are educational information, not individual investment, tax or legal advice. Decisions depend on your circumstances. Discuss them with the appropriate professionals before acting. Investing involves risk, including loss of principal.
